Dear users,
things are moving fast. DaDaBIK 12.4 has been released, packed with powerful new features and improvements.

No-code Formula Fields

Write formulas directly in the form configurator using an intuitive syntax like:

({price} - {discount}) * 1.22

Fields are automatically calculated, just like with calculated fields, but without custom coding.

New Layout and Design Settings

From the admin area, you can now:

1) Upload a custom logo
2) Choose your favorite font
3) Select from 12 Visual Themes—or customize your own theme for a unique look

Improved Form Configurator

Adding options is now easier than ever with a user-friendly interface—no separators required. Just drag & drop to sort elements.

Automatic Relationship Discovery

DaDaBIK now intelligently detects relationships between tables and fields during installation or when adding tables/fields. For example:
If you have products.brand_id and a brands table with a primary key id, DaDaBIK will automatically set products.brand_id as a lookup field.
Before, this was only done using referential integrity constraints (still used) and only on MySQL.

This release includes 10+ additional features, many inspired by the Feature Suggestions forum, two of them sponsored by customers:

1) Cascade dropdowns in search forms
2) Conditional fields enabled for details pages, list views, and PDFs

We’ve also fixed several bugs, including security issues.
